At DHA Architects, our approach to any project firstly focusses on its context. We resolutely believe in designing within the confines of a site’s locality and its history, teasing out its constraints and its opportunities.
Increasingly, our input is required at a strategic level. Our clients often request us to advise them on the strategic development opportunities of the land that they own and we regularly provide development control plans to support the NHS Estate Strategy. This often requires us to work closely with planning and viability consultants, developers and stakeholders to propose schemes which respond, not only to the client’s requirements, but also to those imposed upon the site by commercial and local policy considerations.
