DHA Architects have completed this new residential property which lies in what was originally a large garden to another house, but had more recently fell into disuse.
It is in the immediate vicinity of a Grade II Listed building and within the Litchborough Conservation Area, providing a rural setting, yet with a sense of enclosure due to the positioning of buildings and linking stone boundary walls.
The proposals developed to reflect the simple form of many nearby buildings, utilising good quality natural stone, brick and slate externally and with a set of high spec internal finishes.
On the project, DHA Architects provided heritage and planning stage services prior to undertaking the detailed design and assisting the contractor on site where necessary.
