Founder and principal architect at the practice since its formation in 1994.

Member of the RIBA, qualified CDM Health and Safety Co-ordinator.

Design and project management with specialist expertise in the following areas: Healthcare, Community, Education, Ecclesiastical, Conservation and Restoration, 

 

IAN ALLERSTON

MANSOOR NAZIR

Design and project management with specialist expertise in the following areas: NHS, Healthcare, Charitable Organisations, Education, Private Housing

Mansoor has been involved in the delivery of a wide range of projects in Acute Care, Mental Health and Primary Care, including educational projects focussed on Children with special educational needs (SEN).

Mansoor is also actively involved in promoting better children’s services in Birmingham and is currently helping SENAR, NHS Birmingham Criss City CCG with developing new systems around the delivery of personal budgets and Educational Health Care Plans (EHC).

 

PHIL COOKSEY

BA (hons), MArch, Dip Arch (Leics) RIBA

Associate  

2011 - Present

 

Graduated with 1st Class Honours from De Montfort University, Leicester where he received the LRSA Award for Sustainable Design 2011 and was nominated for the RIBA Bronze Medal 2011 and was awarded best MArch design project 2015.

Phil currently teaches 1st and 2nd year Architecture studios part-time at De Montfort University, Leicester and Wolverhampton University and is involved in the RIBA Ambassador’s Programme.

ALEXANDRA VOICULESCU

BA(Hons) MArch, PgDip Arch (Birm) RIBA

Architect

2021 – Present

 

Alexandra has recently qualified as an Architect, completing the Part III course at Birmingham City University, whilst continuing to develop her role within the practice.
She graduated from Parts I and II with 1st Class Honours and received the Birmingham Architectural Association MArch 2021 Prize for her Masters Thesis project.
Alexandra has a keen interest in sustainability, master-planning and conservation and looks to incorporate Building Information Modelling into her work wherever possible.

NICOLE DURRELL

BSc(Hons)

Part 1 Architectural Assistant

2022 - Present

 

Nicole graduated this summer from De Montfort University, Leicester. In her final year, she enjoyed assisting weekly workshops for first year students, while exploring her interest in sustaining ecosystems within the built environment through her final design project.
Nicole is completing her Part 1 Placement with us before continuing her studies to become a fully qualified architect.
