DHA Architects were commissioned to prepare a feasibility study to explore the potential for inserting a new classroom within the existing school grounds.

The location of the existing building was not ideal and the school felt that their options were restricted by the lack of available space for a traditional extension.

During the early stages of the report, DHA identified another option of locating the classroom within the existing entrance foyer - a pooly used voluminous space - and quickly established that the existing steel frame structure had the capacity to accommodate additional loading.
