The aim of this development was to draw together some of the beneficiaries of ecclesiastical-based contracts within the construction industry to create a partnership project. By drawing on particular areas of expertise, services and products, DHA Architects were able to create a new Community Center for the Archdiocese of Birmingham, which will serve the needs of a particularly deprived area in Saltley in the heart of Birmingham.

The creation of the partnership project, in addition to the skills offered by the construction industry, attracted sufficient funding to realise the building, which would otherwise not have been affordable by the people of the local parish of the Holy Rosary Church.
